Since not everything can be perfect, I asked myself and our partners in research and development what disadvantages liposomal vitamin C can have. And also liposomal products in general.
During the discussion we came to the following conclusions:
- Liposomal formulations are stable in a certain PH range where some active ingredients may not be stable
- Liposomes are sensitive to heat and temperature, so they must be stored accordingly.
- Liposomal formulations today only come in liquid form, the solid liposomes on the market today are not true liposomes, but this is an evolving issue.
